Town Hall

The townhall of King's Lynn has existed since the early fifteenth century, around 1420, when the Gildhall of the Holy Trinity was built - the most prominent feature of the townhall today with its steep arched roof and large window. The building to the left of it, built in the same checkered styling, was added around 1640. The arms of Elizabeth I can bee seen above the main window on this building, and the arms of Charles II above them. Finally, the buildings furthest to the left were added in 1895.
The Townhall stands to the north of the Saturday Market Place, overlooked by St. Margaret's church.
